Register my bloodline?

Yep. I have to register my bloodline (back 4 generations) to prove that I am indeed a Lumbee Indian...does that sound familiar? Sort of like a dog with the damned AKC. Moreover, the government has declared that the Lumbee aren't a federally recognized tribe and therefore can't recieve scholarships from the federal government. How much of a slap in the face is that??? You don't live on a reservation,you speak English and you don't walk around in feathers,so you arent really indians. How's that for you? It gets worse. In 89 the govenment told our tribal council that we weren't even eligible to PETITON TO BECOME FEDERALLY RECOGNIZED!!! Than

Is this whack or is it just me??

At the beginning of this school year,the administration sent out forms for the students to sign. These forms stated that the student who signed agreed to adhere to the rules of the computer lab. Which,at the time, were NO EATING AND DRINKING,NO PORN and NO MYSPACE (thank you 60 Minutes!!!)      After the school year began,they came up with a new rule:NO FACEBOOK. I don''t think this rule should be included under the "legal documentation" for two reasons. 1. It wasn't a rule when I signed the effing sheet. 2.How is Facebook inappropriate at school when the idiot at the computer next ot me is on FML??? Agree? Disagree? Comment!

Haha, I did about the same. SBM started it all. Then I found out what a beautiful hippie he was .

I love Running on Empty, and Explorers was weird. I still really want to see My Own Private Idaho. But more than just the acting and movies, I liked his philosophy.
